Meet your Practice Partner, Aurora

You understood something while you were reading. Then life happened.

The conversation you had rehearsed went differently. You said yes before you noticed the hesitation. Or you caught the familiar pattern, but had no idea what to do instead.

Aurora is an optional AI Practice Partner designed to help you stay curious at precisely those moments. Bring something you read, heard or noticed through I AWAKE. Explore it in relation to your own life, and choose what you want to try next.

Aurora is available by invitation. Practitioners can request a meeting to explore her approach and discuss access to try her.

A conversation that brings you back to your own experience

Sometimes the useful question is not “What should I do?” It is “What happened just before I stopped listening to myself?”

Aurora’s reflective approach makes room for that distinction. She can help you examine an assumption, consider another perspective or notice a detail you passed over. She can also explain an idea when you need clarity. Your experience remains yours to interpret.

What you can explore with Aurora

The thought you took for a fact

Use Socratic questions to examine what you assume, what you know and what else might be possible. You do not have to agree with the first interpretation, including Aurora’s.

What you notice in your body

A held breath. A tight jaw. Warmth, restlessness or an impulse to move. Aurora invites you to notice sensations and consider their context. A sensation is something to explore, not a fixed code for an emotion.

What the material means in your life

Bring a passage, a question from a practice or something that stayed with you after listening. Follow the connection between the idea and an actual situation you recognise.

What you want to try next

Turn reflection into an action you choose: asking a clearer question, pausing before an answer or approaching a familiar situation differently. Return to what happened and consider what you learned.

What to bring into your next session

Between meetings with a practitioner, Aurora can offer another occasion to reflect. You decide which observations you want to discuss when you meet again.

You can change direction

You can decline a question, pause or choose another subject. Aurora is designed to support your judgment and inner dialogue. She is an AI Practice Partner, not a substitute for a qualified professional or urgent human support.

Principles behind the conversation

Aurora’s design draws on selected principles from the ICF AI Coaching Framework and Standards, including transparency, user choice, consent and clear boundaries. This describes her design approach. Aurora has not been independently certified or endorsed by ICF.

Human capacities worth getting to know

Noticing a sensation, questioning a thought and choosing a response are different human capacities. Explore how I AWAKE describes them and where they appear in everyday life.

Words that help you get more precise

What is interoception? How is reflection different from rumination? The glossary helps you ask a more specific question when a broad word stops being useful.

Follow a question into the Reading Room

A conversation can open a question you want to investigate further. Read about attention, bodily experience and the ways we make sense of ourselves, with the distinctions and sources kept visible.

Explore Aurora for your work with clients

Before recommending Aurora, experience her approach for yourself. Request a meeting and tell us what you would like to explore. We will answer your questions and discuss an invitation to try her, including the access and usage terms.

It sends us your request. We will reply personally to arrange a time.

Aurora access is arranged separately. We will explain the invitation and usage terms before you decide.

She can help you explore it in context. She does not assign a fixed emotional meaning to a sensation or provide a diagnosis.
