Your work doesn’t end when the session does
Neither does theirs

We offer you help to Practice

A client can understand something important with you and still meet the old pattern again two days later.

Not because the conversation failed. Because insight has to survive contact with actual life.

I AWAKE Practice gives the work somewhere to continue.

A calm digital space where your clients can return to what matters, practise, read, reflect, listen and bring what they discover back into your work together.

After your session ends
their work begins

Most practitioners already give clients something to carry between meetings.

The problem is that it often lives everywhere else. A PDF in email. A note in a notebook. A voice message. A calendar link. A practice they meant to remember.

Nothing is wrong with those things. They are simply hard to hold together.

I AWAKE Practice gives that continuation one place to live.

Your client knows where to return. You know where the thread is. The next meeting can begin with what happened, not with searching for the thing you sent last week.

The problem is not a lack of good material
It is that everything lives somewhere else

You do not need another folder of exercises.

You need a place where the material, the practice, the reflection and the next conversation can belong to the same piece of work.

That is what Practice changes. It turns the between-session part of your work from a collection of loose ends into a clear, human continuation of the relationship.

Keep your way of working
Give it a better home

I AWAKE Practice is not a method that takes over your work.

You decide what belongs there. Use I AWAKE material, add your own, combine the two, change the order, leave things out. The platform gives your work structure without asking you to become a different kind of practitioner.

The Creative Hero’s Journey by Camilla Wellton

Give every client
a place of their own

Create a private practice space for one client and fill it only with what is relevant to the work you are doing together.

Add practices, readings, files, reflections and assignments without sending someone through an entire programme they did not ask for.

They have somewhere to come back to. You have somewhere to place the thread you want to continue.

Private first
Shared by choice

Some things need to be written before they need to be shared.

Clients can reflect privately and decide what they want to bring into the work with you. Where sharing is enabled, a chosen reflection can become part of the conversation. Their inner work does not automatically become your data.

Give them something better than homework

A good practice is not punishment for having attended therapy correctly.

It is another encounter with the thing you are exploring.

I AWAKE includes structured practices designed to turn ideas into something a person can notice, try, compare, revisit and bring back into conversation. You can also add your own material whenever that serves the work better.

Nine practices are only the beginning

The practices are doorways into a much larger learning environment.

There is a Reading Room for deeper context, a Glossary for precise distinctions, Human Capacities for broader developmental territory and Sensual Capacities for finer embodied abilities around sensing, pacing, pleasure, preference, agency, relationship and everyday participation.

A lens
not a label

Nothing in I AWAKE Practice is designed to tell a client who they are.

A capacity is not a personality type. A bodily sensation is not automatically the truth. A nervous-system response is not a complete explanation. A reflection is not a diagnosis.

The platform helps people look more closely while leaving room for context, history, culture, relationships, material circumstances and professional judgement.

Make the pathway clear
without making it rigid

A practice can introduce a distinction. The distinction can lead to a Glossary entry. A capacity can help name what is being developed. A Reading Room piece can add context.

Then a reflection can bring the experience back into your next meeting. Instead of handing someone thirty resources and hoping they build the pathway themselves, you can create one that makes sense for this person now.

Create once
adapt intelligently

When you build a useful sequence, you do not have to reconstruct it from memory every time.

Save structures as templates. Reuse what works. Adapt it for another person. Remove what does not belong. Change the order. Add your own material.

A template gives you a starting point. It never gets the final word.

One person or a whole group
different needs need different spaces

Use a private space for individual work. Create cohorts for programmes, workshops or ongoing groups.

Give people common resources without making their reflections public, or create a shared environment when conversation between participants is part of the work. Add announcements, agreements and sessions. The technology adapts to the relationship instead of asking the relationship to adapt to the technology.

You are not doing this alone
Meet the practitioner community

Practice also includes a community for practitioners.

Ask how someone else is using a practice. Compare ways of introducing a resource. Share what has worked in a group. Ask a practical question when you are trying something new.

It is a place for peer exchange around the work, not a replacement for supervision, clinical consultation or the professional structures your field requires.

The client gets a real space too

Not an ugly backend. Not a practitioner dashboard with half the controls hidden.

Clients have their own experience. The things relevant to them are visible. The things relevant only to you are not. They can return to practices, material, reflections, shared files and spaces without learning how your administration works.

It should feel like somewhere they were invited, not somewhere they were added.

Bring your own material
keep what already works

Your work did not begin when you entered I AWAKE.

Upload the material you already use. Share PDFs, recordings, images, handouts and other resources with the people who need them. Use I AWAKE material beside your own.

The platform is there to expand your repertoire, not erase it.

Keep the practical side together too

A meaningful practice still has appointments. People still reschedule. Someone still needs the meeting link.

Practice includes infrastructure for sessions, availability, bookings, reminders, cancellations and recurring work. Where enabled for your setup, supported Google Calendar, Google Meet, Zoom and session-payment connections can sit inside the same environment.

The point is not to turn your work into administration. It is to stop administration from being scattered everywhere else.

Human by design
not engagement by design

There are no streaks to protect. No leaderboard for self-awareness. No algorithm deciding what your client needs next.

Good practice does not require turning vulnerability into user retention. I AWAKE Practice is designed around return, continuity and enough structure to support the work without colonising the person’s life.

The Creative Hero’s Journey by I AWAKE

Your practice stays yours

You remain the practitioner.

I AWAKE does not diagnose your client, prescribe treatment, decide what a bodily signal means or replace psychotherapy, medical care, crisis support or your professional responsibilities.

Use what is appropriate. Leave out what is not. Professional autonomy is part of the design.

What you can do inside I AWAKE Practice

Create private 1:1 spaces and practitioner-led cohorts. Invite clients and participants. Share I AWAKE practices and your own resources. Build assignments and sequences. Save reusable templates. Upload and exchange files. Offer private reflection with deliberate sharing. Create agreements for shared spaces. Organise sessions, availability, booking rules, reminders and cancellations. Connect supported calendar, video and payment services. Give clients access to the Reading Room, Glossary, Human Capacities and Sensual Capacities. Ask questions inside the practitioner community.

All without turning your actual work into a generic online course.

Who is it for

Psychologists and psychotherapists. Counsellors and coaches. Somatic, embodiment and movement practitioners. Relationship and intimacy practitioners. Yoga and contemplative teachers. Facilitators, educators and creative-development practitioners.

You do not need to practise exactly as we do. You need to care about what happens after the insight.

Start with one client
not a migration project

You do not have to move your whole practice.

Start with one client, one cohort or one sequence. See how it feels when the material has somewhere to live and your client knows where to return.

Then decide what deserves to come next.

The platform itself is free
because the point is the work

For practitioners using I AWAKE bundles with their clients, the practitioner platform is offered without a separate platform fee. Clients are not charged a separate I AWAKE Practice access fee for entering the spaces you create for them.

We built it this way because the useful thing is not another software subscription. It is giving practitioners and clients a more coherent, more human place for the work to continue.

Purchased materials, your own professional fees, custom commissions and external service charges remain separate.

One platform
a whole universe behind it

I AWAKE Practice sits inside a larger ecosystem of books, guided journeys, practices, audio, psychological and embodied education, the Reading Room, the Glossary, Human Capacities, Sensual Capacities and a growing body of research-informed material.

Your client does not only get a container. They get somewhere to go when curiosity opens another door. You remain the person deciding which doors are useful to open.

The session can end
The work doesn’t have to disappear with it

Give your clients somewhere to return. Give your material somewhere to live. Give reflection enough privacy to become honest.

Give insight another encounter with ordinary life. And give yourself a practice environment designed around the work rather than around the software.

Questions people usually ask before they try it

No. It is a practice environment around the work you already do. It can hold material, practices, reflection, assignments, sessions and client spaces, but it does not diagnose, prescribe treatment or replace your professional judgement.

No. Use I AWAKE resources alongside your own material. Upload the PDFs, recordings, images, handouts and other resources that already belong in your practice.

Yes. The platform supports private individual spaces as well as practitioner-led cohorts and group arrangements with different participation settings.

Only where the space has deliberately been configured for shared participation. Individual client work remains separate, and group structures can be designed around the level of interaction appropriate to the work.

No. The platform distinguishes private reflection from deliberate sharing. A client can write privately and choose what, if anything, they want to bring into the shared work.

They are frameworks for describing abilities that can be noticed and developed through experience and practice. Human Capacities describe broader developmental territories; Sensual Capacities offer finer distinctions around attention, sensing, pacing, pleasure, preference, agency, relationship, environment and everyday participation. They are lenses for exploration, not diagnostic scores.

No. Sensual refers to lived sensory and embodied experience: how we notice, receive, enjoy, choose, respond, relate and participate through our senses and bodies. Sexuality may be relevant in some contexts, but it is not what the word means here.

The platform includes infrastructure for supported Google and Zoom connections, along with availability, sessions, booking rules and related practice administration. Availability of specific external services is confirmed for each setup.

Payment infrastructure is available for supported practitioner setups. External payment-provider terms and processing fees remain separate.

Not in the usual sense. There are resources, sequences and structured practices, but I AWAKE Practice is built around an ongoing practitioner-client relationship rather than course completion, grades, streaks or generic learning paths.

Yes. Start with one relationship or one cohort, see what the space changes, and decide what belongs there next.

Yes. Your own PDFs, recordings, images, handouts and other resources can sit alongside I AWAKE material so the space reflects the way you actually work.

Yes. You can save a structure as a template, reuse it and adapt it for another person or group. A template gives you a starting point; your judgement still determines what belongs.

Beyond the included practices, clients can work with the Reading Room, Glossary, Human Capacities and Sensual Capacities. These provide deeper context, clearer distinctions and ways to connect a practice with the larger question it belongs to.

No. Aurora is an optional AI practice partner within the wider I AWAKE ecosystem. The practitioner platform does not depend on using AI, and professional judgement remains yours.

No. I AWAKE Practice is a place for practice material, reflection and continuity between meetings. It is not presented as a clinical record system. You remain responsible for the records and documentation required by your profession.

The I AWAKE ecosystem is being developed bilingually in English and Swedish, including material and platform language support. We can confirm what is available for the specific resources you want to use.

Yes. Practitioners have a peer community where they can ask practical questions, compare ways of using material and learn from how others are working with the platform. It is a space for professional exchange around the work, not a replacement for supervision, clinical consultation or the structures required by your profession.

No special technical background is expected. The practitioner side is built around ordinary actions such as creating a space, inviting someone, choosing material, sharing a file and arranging sessions. You do not need to edit WordPress or work with code.

You choose the kind of group space you are creating and the level of participation it allows. Shared resources do not require shared personal reflections. Participants should always know who can see a contribution before they make it.

It is designed for credible professionals whose work continues beyond information: psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches, somatic and embodiment practitioners, facilitators, educators, movement teachers and related professionals.

Access, pricing and custom work

If you buy I AWAKE bundles for your clients, your practitioner platform access remains free. There is no recurring platform subscription to keep that access. Your clients have no separate platform access fee. Purchased materials, your professional fees, custom commissions and external service charges are separate.

Yes. Organise suitable resources into a sequence, save it as your own template and adapt it for another person or group. We will confirm which I AWAKE material is included in your bundle.

Yes. Tell us about the group, the purpose and whether you need English, Swedish or both. We can discuss a suitable scope and provide a personal quote.

No. The consumer Practice Space is for a person’s own practice across a Hero’s Journey. This practitioner offer supports professional work with clients and groups.

For practitioners who want to know what sits underneath it

I AWAKE is a human-development universe created by Camilla Wellton. It brings reflective writing, bodily attention, imagination, audio and everyday practice into three connected bodies of work. The Sensual Hero’s Journey™ explores sensation, desire, emotional life and connection. The Creative Hero’s Journey™ explores possibility, permission and capacity. The Hidden Hero’s Journey™ explores perception, interpretation and the inner world.

For your work, that means several ways into a question. A client may recognise something through a passage, an image or a bodily observation before finding words for it. You choose what fits the person and your purpose together.

Research into underlying processes helps inform how the material is designed. That is different from a trial of the I AWAKE system itself. We do not present the whole universe as a clinically validated treatment.

You should be able to distinguish an empirical finding, a theoretical model, a symbolic interpretation and an I AWAKE practice. The research page makes those connections explicit so you can assess the material with your own professional judgment.

Read the research behind the method

Interoception concerns signals from within the body and how they are sensed and processed. Research distinguishes attention to a signal from accuracy in identifying it. I AWAKE invites bodily observation alongside reflection. The useful question is what the person notices in context, rather than what a sensation supposedly proves. Khalsa and colleagues.

Attachment research offers ways to examine closeness, support and responses to relational uncertainty. I AWAKE uses such questions to explore lived relationships, without reducing someone to an attachment label. You might work with how a person asks for help or responds when closeness feels uncertain. A pattern is a subject for inquiry, not a verdict about a partner. Fraley’s review.

Polyvagal theory is an influential, contested model, not a settled account of autonomic physiology. Its specific claims have attracted substantial scientific criticism and responses from its proponents. Where this perspective appears, it should be identified as a theoretical lens. A description such as “I shut down” does not, on its own, identify a particular vagal mechanism. Scientific critique, response.

I AWAKE discusses Jung’s contribution to image work, including active imagination and symbolic inquiry. Jungian concepts belong to a psychological tradition; their presence is not evidence that a symbol has one objectively correct meaning. The material gives you a way to explore an image with the person’s own associations. It is not presented as Jungian analysis. I AWAKE on active imagination, IAAP on analytical psychology.

No. A guided visualisation deliberately shapes an experience through a script. Jungian active imagination has its own history and involves engaging with emergent inner material. The distinction matters when you select a practice: similar use of images does not make two approaches interchangeable. I AWAKE’s discussion.

Sometimes a person notices a sensation before finding a useful description. At other times, a more precise phrase changes what they can explore. Research on affect labelling includes findings from specific laboratory tasks; it does not establish that every reflective writing exercise has the same effect. I AWAKE brings noticing and naming together as opportunities for inquiry. Lieberman and colleagues.

Research on between-session work highlights the relevance of a clear rationale, collaborative planning and review. The practical implication is to connect the activity to something meaningful from the session and return to the experience together. A resource link alone cannot do that work. The practitioner platform provides a structure; you and your client give the practice its purpose. Ryum, Bennion and Kazantzis.

Mental imagery and perception can involve overlapping mechanisms, while remaining different experiences. An imagined scene can therefore be worth exploring without treating it as a recovered fact or an external event. I AWAKE uses imagery as material for reflection; the person’s associations remain open to examination. Pearson and colleagues.

Metacognition concerns how we monitor and evaluate our own thinking. Confidence and accuracy are distinguishable. In practice, that gives you a useful question: what did the person observe, and what did they conclude? I AWAKE’s Reality Literacy work makes room to examine that difference without dismissing the experience itself. Fleming and Lau.

A chosen intention can become more concrete when linked to a recognisable situation: “If I need time before answering, I will ask for it.” Research on implementation intentions examines this kind of planning. It offers a useful connection to I AWAKE’s everyday practice, without guaranteeing that a particular plan will work for every person. Gollwitzer and Sheeran.

Use your knowledge of the person, your professional scope and the work you have agreed. Decide whether inward attention, imagery or written reflection is suitable, and adjust or stop when it is not. The available formats give you choices, not a requirement to use every approach. You can discuss a specific material selection with us before purchasing a bundle.

It is offered as a place for practice material and reflection. It is not presented as a clinical record system. You retain responsibility for your professional records, decisions and agreements about between-session contact. We can discuss the intended use and access arrangements before you introduce it to clients or patients.

The reflection workflow distinguishes private writing from a saved version the client chooses to share. Set expectations together about what you can see, whether you will respond and when. For groups, explain the audience for contributions and agree how participants should handle each other’s information.

The Hero’s Journey provides a narrative way to explore change. The three I AWAKE journeys are creative frameworks, not diagnostic categories or stages every person must pass through. Their value for your work is the question they help the person recognise and explore. Scientific findings should be assessed separately from the narrative that helps make a practice meaningful.
