This isn’t just a system with methods, it’s my lived return from distance to connection, from self-protection to sovereign sensual and creative presence.
For most of my life...
..I lived from a very rich but fiercely private inner world. I wasn’t performing for anyone. I was protecting myself from everyone.
I knew beauty, vision, and depth from the inside out, but early imprinting taught me to distrust closeness and avoid intimacy.
Not because I wanted to but because something in me believed I had to.
I longed for more connection, but couldn’t yet believe I could have it without losing myself. Then something shifted.
After my eponymous fashion brand, Camilla Wellton’s investor deal fell through, I found myself at a fork.
Work harder, control more, become sharper or just let myself have fun and play…
…I let myself dance barefoot in the wild.
I surrendered to steady rythm of repeating nights of underground techno and sexy minimal deep house worship, started producing music under the alter ego Gyndroid.
I fell in love with Shibari and decided that I wanted both ends of the experience, the give and the receive, so i studied Shibari every week with Andy Buru.
I created We got cookies a sensual fashion lifestyle and leather accessories brand, and finally dove into intimate play with souls who met me in my fire.
I stopped trying to control the aliveness in me. I realized people weren’t the danger, they were the bridge. And intimate playfulness was what I had been looking for all my life…
And then my son came as a gift from the universe.
A sacred interruption.
A deepening of existence…
He brought the future into my body and made it holy.
Where Jung mapped the psyche, Joseph Campbell found the hero’s journey map in our collective body of myths, I built the body into the map.
I continued where they left off, giving the symbolic world a nervous system.
Science meets personal myth.
Biology meets purposeful sensual imagination.
It’s where ideas stop being theories and start breathing in you.
This isn’t about stepping into light.
It’s about loving being here in the flesh. Savoring the senses.
The I Awake books are the integration of everything I’ve learned so far, lived and the raw, sensual, creative and magical journey of being human.
It’s not just about awakening to a deeper awareness.
It’s about returning.
To the self. To the senses.
To the shared.
