People know they can rely on you. Meanwhile, your own idea lives in notes, saved images and conversations about what you might do when there is time. Perhaps someone else's achievement keeps catching your attention. You want to know whether it is their recognition, their freedom or the work itself that you wish were yours.
I Was Born for More is an illustrated guided creative immersion in the Realm of Possibility, part of I AWAKE's The Creative Hero’s Journey. Across nine chapters, you explore a direction you want to live with, alongside the responsibilities and relationships already in your life.
Bring an actual project: a page, design, offer, performance, business decision or an idea still finding its form. You can begin with several interests. Choose one workable example and return to it as the questions become more specific.
Through reading, guided writing, creative exercises and body-based practices, you explore:
- What interests you about the making, as well as the imagined achievement.
- How pleasure, curiosity, recognition, income and contribution shape different choices.
- When an objection points to a practical need, and when it dismisses an interest before you have tried it.
- What a page, sketch, conversation or period of making can tell you that another imagined future cannot.
The Circle, a guided imaginal encounter, brings image, sensation and relationship into the exploration. You have room to notice attraction, uncertainty and hesitation before deciding what they mean.
Read and practise at your own pace. Give each question somewhere to land in the work. Your next step might be opening the file or setting aside time to try. You can give an idea a place in your life before deciding what the rest of that life must become.
