When you buy a physical book online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The period starts on the day after you receive the book.

Want to withdraw from your purchase? Email camilla@i-awake.com within that period and include your order number if you have it. Tell us that you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, and we will help you with the return address. Then send the book back within 14 days after notifying us.

You pay the return shipping, provided that you were informed of this cost before purchasing. Pack the book so that it is protected in transit. You may inspect it as you would in a shop. If you have handled it more than necessary to inspect it, we may deduct the reduction in value, provided that you received the legally required information about your right of withdrawal before purchasing.

The refund includes any standard delivery charge you paid for the order. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option are not refunded. We refund you using the same payment method you used for the purchase, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the book or you have shown that it has been sent back.

Digital products are also covered by rules on the right of withdrawal. For digital content supplied immediately, the right may end when supply begins, but only if you have expressly consented to supply beginning during the withdrawal period, acknowledged that your right of withdrawal will then end, and received confirmation of the agreement.

For a digital service, the right of withdrawal may end once the service has been fully performed, provided that you have expressly consented to performance beginning during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that the right will end once the service is complete.

The right of withdrawal is separate from your right to complain about a fault. If something is wrong with your book or digital product, you can contact us even after the withdrawal period has ended.
