It isn’t agreeing with whoever spoke last. You can change a method while keeping your standards.
The first plan can be yours without being sacred.
An idea meets a problem. You could take that as proof the project is impossible, or as a reason to examine what needs to change.
Another format, a different audience, a smaller first version: these may preserve what matters while changing how you reach it.
