An instinctive response can organise attention and action before a full explanation is available. An archetypal image can gather powerful associations around themes such as protection, hunger, transformation, authority or belonging.

A pattern can speak without becoming your ruler.

This capacity asks for curiosity and proportion. You can explore the figure that appears, the impulse that repeats or the role that feels larger than one situation while still checking context, evidence and consequence.
