It isn’t a character assessment. Feeling tired doesn’t establish that you are lazy, uncommitted or afraid of success. Sleep, health, stress, work and many other circumstances can matter.

You have become irritable about a request. Perhaps there is a boundary to discuss. Perhaps you also haven’t eaten, rested or had an unclaimed hour in days.

Both deserve attention. Turning every physical limit into a psychological puzzle can leave the actual person rather poorly cared for.
