Integration means letting what you have understood or experienced become part of how you live, with your thoughts, feelings and bodily responses considered together.
It is more than agreeing with an insight. It may also be less dramatic than the word makes it sound.
You noticed before saying yes this time.
You asked for a moment. Checked your energy. Considered what you’d already promised.
Perhaps you still agreed. But your answer included you.
That is a different experience from understanding afterwards why you said yes too quickly again.
I AWAKE makes room for this movement between the book and the day. Writing can help you hear a need. Guided practice can help you notice the response around expressing it. A real conversation then gives you something new to consider.
An old habit appearing again doesn’t erase what you learned. The question is how the new possibility becomes more available, not how to maintain a flawless before-and-after story.
Everyday practice brings the idea into ordinary moments. Mixed feelings helps when using what you’ve learned still leaves more than one response in you.
