Visibility is letting some part of yourself, your work or your experience be seen by other people.
It can bring connection, opportunity and useful response. It can also bring exposure, judgement and expectations you can’t completely control.
Being seen doesn’t have to mean being available to everyone.
You can share a draft with one reader. Publish the work without sharing every detail of your life. Make an offer with clear limits around your time.
The Creative Hero’s Journey explores visibility in the realm Permission and the realm Capacity. I’m Done Asking considers the approval and hesitation around showing your work. What If It Works? asks what support and boundaries belong around the response it receives.
A bigger audience isn’t automatically the right next step. The useful question is who needs to encounter the creation and what that encounter can help you learn or offer.
Privacy keeps a distinction between sharing and surrendering access. Feedback helps you decide which responses have a useful job to do.
Noba’s Creativity offers context on creating and evaluating ideas. It provides a wider perspective on how work meets other people, rather than treating attention itself as the goal.
