Think dirty, stay holy

One thought. There goes your afternoon.

“They’re bored with me.” “I’ve ruined it.” “Everyone knows.” The sentence arrives with the confidence of a fact. Is it one?

The sphinx asks a better question

The sphinx belongs here as a keeper of questions. Its presence invites curiosity about an answer that seemed settled.

This destination explores your relationship with thought: the stories you build, the certainty they gather and the room that appears when you examine them.

The reply hasn’t arrived

You know they haven’t replied. You imagine they regret knowing you.

Write those as two separate sentences. What is evidence, what is interpretation, and what is still unknown?

The hijack sentence

Catch one sentence that changes how you feel or act.

Separate what you know from what you assume, then choose a useful next step.

Keep your mind in the conversation

You can take a thought seriously enough to examine it without letting it make every decision.

Thought observation

Hear a thought as something your mind is doing.

Metacognition

Story–evidence separation

Check a conclusion against what you can establish.

Reality literacy

Stay with the question

A recognisable moment can open a bigger question. These readings give you room to explore it.

Explore overthinking, interpretation and the relationship between attention, emotion and the stories we tell.

Is It a Pattern or Are You Projecting?

Pattern recognition can protect discernment; projection can recruit old material into the present. Learn to investigate without gaslighting yourself.

One Text Message, Three Different Realities

The same message can feel tender, neutral or threatening in different states. Learn how prediction, context and bodily condition shape interpretation.

An Open Letter to the Mind That Will Not Stop

Overthinking may be trying to predict, prevent or perfect an uncertain future. Meet the function without letting rumination become the only room available.

Write the sentence down

“They think I’m ridiculous.” Seeing the words can make the claim easier to examine. What supports it? What would you need to find out?

Your mind can be company

It imagines, predicts and tries to make sense of things.

You can question its conclusions, enjoy its possibilities and bring it new information. You do not need a silent mind to have a choice.

Seduce My Mind by Camilla Wellton, I AWAKE Sensual Hero’s Journey book cover

Seduce My Mind offers seven guided days to explore thought loops, predictions and interpretations. Writing, reflection and my recorded guidance help you notice how a story takes hold and practise responding with more perspective. In the recordings, my voice is accompanied by music composed especially for the I AWAKE universe.

There’s a word for that

Metacognition, interpretation, rumination. Useful words for noticing how your mind works while you are inside the experience.

Interpretation

An interpretation is the meaning or explanation you give to something you observe or experience.

Overthinking

Overthinking is repeated thinking that has stopped adding useful understanding or helping you decide, while continuing to occupy your attention.

Projection

Projection describes a way your own feelings, expectations or difficult-to-recognise qualities may contribute to what you perceive in another person or situation.
