Guided audio is a recording that leads you through a practice while you participate. In I AWAKE, Camilla’s voice, pacing and music have a place alongside the words you read and the responses you write.
You can put the instructions down. Listen. Notice what happens when you aren’t also trying to remember the next step.
The voice isn’t reading every page back to you.
The accompanying practice recordings and a fully narrated audiobook are different things.
In each guided seven-day book of the Sensual Hero’s Journey, opening audio comes before the day’s reading, writing and body map. Closing audio follows. After the seven-day sequence, there is a Circle imaginal journey and a separate longer practice to use again.
The Creative Hero’s Journey and the Hidden Hero’s Journey have their own listening points, introduced in the relevant book.
Follow the guidance for the title you are using, even when your bookshelf includes several series. Mixing books doesn’t require forcing all their practices into the same timetable.
The Circle explains the imaginal encounter. Body map shows how sensation can be recorded beside your written response.
