Lick your mirror

You want closeness. Then someone comes closer.

You stiffen. Make a joke. Say yes before checking. What would make this contact welcome to you?

The centaur brings the body along

The centaur joins a human figure with an animal body. On this map, thinking and sensing travel together.

This destination is a place to notice how contact actually meets you: wanted, neutral, too much or not yet. Your preferences belong inside the encounter.

“Let me help.”

You say, “I’m fine,” while carrying more than you want to carry.

Would you welcome this particular help? A smaller offer? A different moment? Receiving can include choosing the terms.

The receiving test

Let contact include your choice

These capacities help you sense a preference, communicate it and stay involved in how closeness unfolds.

Stay with the question

A recognisable moment can open a bigger question. These readings give you room to explore it.

Explore touch, consent, receiving and the conditions that make closeness possible.

Why Warmth Can Feel More Dangerous Than Distance

Care can activate suspicion, shame or urgency instead of relief. Explore why receiving may feel costly and how contact can become more adjustable.

Wanted, Watched, Touched and Still Not Received

Desire can be real while recognition is absent. Explore the difference between being wanted as an experience and received as a whole person.

Before the Sentence, the Jaw

Body-centred growth includes physical signals in reflection and choice without treating sensation as infallible, mystical or a substitute for care.

Change one detail

“A brief hug would be lovely.” “I’d like company, but no advice.” A specific preference gives someone a real chance to meet you.

You can want touch and have limits

Wanting closeness does not commit you to every offer.

You can welcome one kind of contact, decline another and change your mind. There is no need to prove openness by overriding yourself.

I Want to Be Touched by Camilla Wellton, I AWAKE Sensual Hero’s Journey book cover

I Want to Be Touched offers seven guided days to explore sensual trust, contact and your own yes, no and not yet. Writing, body awareness and my recorded guidance help you practise receiving while remaining part of the decision. In the recordings, my voice is accompanied by music composed especially for the I AWAKE universe.

There’s a word for that

Consent, boundaries, body awareness. Find language for the preferences that can disappear when you try to be easy to be with.

Body awareness

Body awareness means noticing physical experience from within: warmth, tension, movement, tiredness, ease, pleasure and the details that don't always make it into your explanation.

Consent

Consent means freely agreeing to a particular activity with enough understanding and room to set conditions, change your mind or decline.

Receiving

Receiving means allowing care, help, pleasure or attention to reach you, rather than immediately dismissing it, repaying it or taking charge of the person offering it.

And then your mind starts talking…

Think Dirty, Stay Holy explores the sentences that can take over an otherwise ordinary moment.
